What do you sell at the Lumber Bunker?
At the lumber bunker we sell quality timbers such as Jarrah, Rosewood, Silver Ash, Cedar, Myrtle, Oaks, Blackwood. See our timber page for a full range. We also sell woodworking tools, accessories and machinery, and run classes for the beginner and intermediate woodworker.

What services do you provide?

Where are you located?
We are currently located at 232 Manns Rd, West Gosford. Click here for directions.

What is your returns policy?
We are happy to refund any product that is faulty, please ensure you keep the original packaging.

We do not give refunds for timber purchase in store. If you purchase your timber online and are not happy with our selection (faulty piece) then you can send it back and we will happily replace it.

Timber - FAQ

What grade timber do you supply? What is the difference?
We supply both select grade and S&B which means standard and better, both are of a high standard. Select grade is timber that is free of defects and knots, it is completely straight. This is the best quality timber. S&B grade may have some knots, borer holes or other defects which could be deemed the timbers feature, still a quality product just more natural looking.

Do you sell Pine?
We do not sell pine, we only sell good quality hardwood timbers.

Can i buy timber online, if so how will i know it will be the best quality?
You can buy timber online (click here) by the metre. We hand select every piece to ensure it is of the best quality. However, if you find you are not happy with an online purchased timber then you can send it back and we will exchange for another peice.

I have a plan that i'm working from. Can you give me a quote on the timber in the plan?
If you send us the plan (fax 02 4323 6922 or email) we can give you a quote within 24hrs. You will need to specify which timber/s you would like us to provide a quote for.

Online shopping - FAQ

How do i order online?
To buy tools and accessories, simply click on our online shop which will direct you to our categories of tools, then select the tool you are after, select quantity and add to order. Once you have finished shopping then simply check out.

Is my information safe and secure? What is your privacy policy?
Our online shop uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) – the industry standard for encryption technology used for secure transactions. Our online store ensures that all your sensitive data is transmitted safely and securely.

We will not pass your personal information onto any other parties, it will be used strictly to process your order and if you select the box saying you would like to receive our newsletter then we will also send you that information quarterly.

Do you sell your products to schools at a schools discounted rate?
We provide our tools, finishes, glues and timber to many schools at a schools discounted rate. Please contact us at info@lumberbunker.com.au for a schools catalogue.

Delivery - FAQ

Do you deliver? How much will it cost me?
We deliver all products including timber all over Australia and internationally. Once you have completed your order it will show you the delivery costs within your area (in Australia), otherwise for really heavy (over 50kgs) or international items we will provide you with a quote.

When i put my order in, it doesn't show me the delivery cost. Why?
Sometimes this happens because the order requires us to give you a quote because it is over 50kgs or an unusual sized item, or it will need to be sent internationally. We will send you a quote before processing your order.

Classes - FAQ

Do i have to book in advance for classes?
It is best to book asap for the classes as they are very popular and tend to fill up very quickly. If you wish to book please just phone our staff on 02 4323 6900.

Do i have to have any prior learning?
No prior learning is required for the classes unless otherwise stated on the class description.
